Yarmouth Bar Fisheries specializes in the purchase and shipping of high quality seafood from across Nova Scotia. As a result of success with international markets, our facilities have been equipped to meet the highest standards.
​Our sales office for all Yarmouth Bar Fisheries products is located in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia at the footsteps of the Bay of Fundy.
Processing and Holding Facility
Seakist Lobster is our state-of-the-art processing and holding facility that has the ability to keep lobster alive for longer periods of time while maintaining the top notch freshness and quality that we are known for.
We can store over 250,000 lbs of live lobster thanks to our extensive holding tanks, our new refrigeration system, and a 484 kw solar array which produces about 70% of our electricity. We’ve completed Phase 1 of our solar project with a 300 kW-DC ground mount system to cut emissions and reduce our environmental impact with Phase 2 (approx. 120 kW-DC) set to be completed by October 2025.
Much of our seafood is sold under our sister brand, Seakist Lobster, so look for our logo to ensure you’re getting our premium quality seafood.
